HOSPICE CARE
We provide comprehensive programs to the elderly, the disabled, the young and to those with physical disabilities.
Hospice of the Golden Isles is a non-profit organization that offers a variety of services to those who need them. Whether you are in the hospital or living with a terminal illness, your loved one needs and deserves a caring home to enjoy quality care until they are comfortable in their own surroundings. Hospice provides a compassionate, loving, and professional environment where patients can receive the care they need with a focus on patient comfort, healing, and dignity.
PALLIATIVE CARE
Doing What’s Needed
Since the aim of this care is to improve the quality of life of the patient, it can take into account the patient's condition and determine what the most appropriate course of action is. Hospice of the Golden Isles is usually focused on improving quality of life for patients who are at high risk of death, such as people who have cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, but it can also be offered to those who are terminally ill and unable to receive any form of conventional medical treatment. In addition to the traditional medical focus, this type of care includes education, counseling and support groups to improve the patient's quality of life.
HEALING & GRIEF
Tackling the Issue
Grief and healing is a process that should not be rushed through. This means that you should be able to make the necessary changes in order to fully heal and be happy with yourself.

The most important duty of Hospice of the Golden Isles is to ensure that the lives of the patients and their families are given dignity and respect. The organization works closely with the family and friends of the patient to help them cope with the death of their loved one and also assist them in their transition into the next stage of life. The members of the organization work together to provide a warm loving environment and meaningful activities for the family members.
